The Transport Fund assists clusters of schools to provide their students with access to Vocational Education and Training Delivered to Secondary Schools (VDSS). The Transport Fund addresses barriers to access by providing schools with transport solutions that are co-ordinated and fit-for-purpose to support increased VDSS access and greater choice for secondary students.

The LLENS have been identified as the most appropriate choice to co-ordinate this funding given their distribution across, and coverage of Victoria and their strong local connections with schools.

The Department of Education appointed Frankston Mornington Peninsula LLEN (FMPLLEN) as the lead LLEN to coordinate the delivery of funds to enable students across Victoria to travel to their VET classes in a locally driven transport plan.
