Work Placements
There are a number of ways you can introduce young people into your organisation:
Work Experience – usually a one week block for students at Year 10 level who are exploring the world of work.
Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) – placements are usually on day per week and are aligned with the student’s VET course where they apply what is learnt at TAFE in the real workplace.
School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeships (SBAT) – students can enter an apprenticeship with you while completing their senior secondary school certificate.
