The Frankston Mornington Peninsula Industry Expo is an exceptional event providing more than 1,600 senior secondary school students a chance to explore a wide range of career options with local employers. It is the key event in our region for employers to raise awareness about their industry and engage with the future workforce.
FMP Jobs Expo
The FMP Jobs Expo is designed to facilitate connections between local job seekers and opportunities within the Mornington Peninsula and Frankston region.
During this dynamic 2-hour session, attendees will have the chance to engage directly with industry professionals and employers, eliminating the impersonal nature of online recruitment.
This event provides a valuable platform for employers to interact with potential candidates, cultivate skills and forge meaningful connections within our community.
Peninsula Applied Learning Awards 2024
The FMPLLEN annually organises the Peninsula Applied Learning Awards (formerly the Peninsula VCAL Awards) to highlight the outstanding accomplishments of young individuals in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula region.
This community event, attended by over 250 participants, including parents, schools, and government and industry representatives, celebrates achievements in applied learning. The awards aim to formally recognise and honour the talents, innovations, and achievements of young people, fostering a positive impact on both students' lives and the region as a whole.
The 2023 awards were a success, attributed to the collaborative efforts of FMPLLEN, schools, industry partners, and the local community, with vital support from sponsors endorsing the mission to promote excellence in applied learning.
