Peninsula VET Association (PVET)

The Peninsula Vocational Education & Training Association’s (PVET) main purpose is to provide guidance & input on Vocational Education & Training in Schools in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula region.  

Key Objectives of PVET:

  • Building relationships with stakeholders & the community, offering professional advice on the administration & implementation of VDSS (Vocational Education & Training delivered to Secondary students),

  • Supporting both new & experienced VET coordinators

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of annual & long-term plans.

  • Identify joint projects between schools to enhance the profile of VDSS, to seek additional funding opportunities & facilitate organizational applications for funding.

  • Provide networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities for school VET Coordinators, Registered Training Organisations and key stakeholders.

  • Provide access to professional development opportunities for our members

  • Support the development of integrated services for young people in the Frankston & Mornington Peninsula region.

Membership in the PVET Association is open to FMP Secondary Schools and Chisholm Institute of TAFE as providers of Vocational Education & Training delivered to secondary students.  Associate membership is available to organizations and individuals involved in vocational education and training programs.

Applications for membership will be reviewed by a full meeting of the PVET Association.
