VCAL Awards

We have 26 schools who deliver VCAL in our region and they are all participating in the event. VCAL is a key focus for our schools and through the Peninsula VCAL Association (A community of Practice that is a FMPLLEN initiative, that is a subcommittee of the FMPLLEN board.) we are able to ensure that best practice, benchmarking, networking, student and staff PDs are held within the region. Through this work, we hold FMP Cook-off and the VCAL awards.

There are 52 students receiving awards and they are either an Excellence Award or an encouragement award. There are school best practice awards.

We also through our work value our industry partners and we will be presenting and Industry award.

The awards are also supported through partnerships and sponsorship from 15 industry partnerships including local government, state and local industry, universities and TAFE

The event has been held for the past 8 years and through the funding from DET, FMPLLEN is able to coordinate and develop opportunities for these amazing students and staff.

FMPLLEN since 2001 have built sustainable relationships with government, schools, industry and community to increase opportunities and outcomes for the young people within the region.

This is one of the major events FMPLLEN holds annually.
